Percheron Judging Features Meeting Opens National Conference
Frederick Ma July 22 Visiting members of H Club and college teams continued competition in judging events at East's first conven tion of the National Conference of Percheron Judges and Breeders. Prizes totaling 200 dollars and trophies will be awarded for four year old stallions smaller aged stallions and three year old flies. Worden M Spitler president of the Percheron Horse Association of America told the conference horses may be largely eliminated from Europe but replacements could be needed later. He said industrial activity may influence farming costs and that horses offer low cost production. Spitler said the conference aims to unify leads on best type and size of percheron to produce.
