Company B to Start Camping Next Saturday Camp near Pen-Mar hosts 1100 guard troops and Govt Day
Company B gears up for a two week field training camp at a mountain lake resort beginning July 28. The 1100 plus regiment from First Infantry, 29th Division, will include officers and men from Company B with Governor Ritchin visiting Governor's Day. The camp features 19 acre lake, 20 canoes, 150 foot pier, screened mess halls, new road, and enhanced facilities. Recaps include rifle range with 40 targets at 200 yards, parade and guard mounting, band concerts, movies, boxing bouts, and water sports.
