Reformed Churches Gathering At Penns Grove Picnic
Thousands attended the annual reunion of the Reformed Churches of old Pennsylvania Virginia Vermont and the District at Cob lad yesterday. Rev R R Wagner led a special train from the city for the event at Penn Mar grounds with a day of speaking singing and a college graduates reunion. Rev Dr H B Klein of Franklin and Marshall College delivered the principal address and a male quartet of New Yorkers performed. The program opened at 1 30 pm with instrumental music by the Pen Mar orchestra and closed with hymns and Psalms.

Education Board Awards Keedysville School Contract

Peacemaker jaw broken in Martinsburg altercation
John Smeltzer, a Martinsburg clerk, tried to mediate a downtown fight with farmer Wal e Seibert and threshing machine operator Proud Van Metre. Van Metre allegedly assaulted Seibert and Smeltzer, breaking Smeltzer's jaw. George Myers, store proprietor, was struck while trying to intervene. Van Metre was arrested on assault charges.
