Foreclosure Sale Sells Hagerstown Pool Site at $11660
The Maple Grove swimming pool and adjoining property were sold at front court house by the Keedynville Bank for 11660. Purchaser was E M Bearinger with Fred M White as auctioneer. The sale includes pool bathhouses boardwalks and a large brick dwelling. The city plans to seek legislative ratification to take over the pool and operate it self supporting while lowering bathing rates.

Persian Month Exhibit Praised at American Museum
An American museum devoted most of its space last month to a Persian art exhibit organized by Richard Carl Medford of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. Pin Removed From Child in Washington County Incident
Frances Martin two year old daughter of Raymond Martin of Smithsburg Route 3 was taken to Washington County Hospital yesterday for removal of a straight pin from her throat. The pin was swallowed while she played at home and was successfully removed by a surgeon.
