Nancy Melinos Wells 15 or 16, College Park, died Sunday at 12 40 p m from liver lacerations after a Saturday night crash in Washington County Her death followed injuries to two other teens and two adults when a wrong way driven 1956 Plymouth collided with a second car and sent it into a Hyattsville area store front at Antietam and Mulberry Streets Witnesses said David Warren Harrison 19 University Park Md drove the wrong way on a one way street and escaped injury The other driver Mrs Wionat Deeds 33 and a passenger Mrs Jacque af 41 plus teen passengers were treated and released at the hospital Authorities prepared for possible charges by State s Attorney James Strine and noted Harrison worked at Camp Echo Lake near Myersville The fatal crash damaged a peanut roaster causing a temporary gas leak and the store was damaged by glass and debris The Wells parents were at her bedside when she died The body was taken to a Hyattsville funeral home and funeral arrangements were expected
