Tuesday’s monthly handicap event at Fountain Head Country Club produced strong results. In the first flight Mrs. Michael Callas won with a net 71, followed by Mrs. Hubert Slocum at net 74. in the second flight Mrs. Charles McKee matched Callas with net 71, and Mrs. Charles Barclay was runner-up with net 75. B. E. Ellinger defeated Slocum in the Consolation final. This Friday, Fountain Head ladies travel to York Pa for a return match with York Country Club. Next Tuesday July 22 features the Flag Event with tee offs limited to the first tee.

The Keefer Klan celebrated its 26th annual reunion in City Park with a noon picnic and a business session. President William F. Keefer led elections for officers John L. Keefer of Sunbury PA as president Leonard Rhodes of Mc Connellsburg PA as vice president and Mrs Ethel McGahan of Johnstown PA as secretary treasurer. Committees were named for the coming year and gifts were awarded to the oldest man and woman, the farthest traveled, the youngest baby, the newest married couple, and the grandparent with the most grandchildren.
