Castro warns Cuba faces fuel crisis after refinery seizures
Havana AP reports Fidel Castro's government must act quickly as Cuba politics seize foreign oil assets. Prime Minister told TV on June 26 Cuba has a 66 day fuel supply and rationing of gasoline and fuel oil. Power relies on oil and a large shortage could be disastrous. Seizures followed takeover of Esso Standard and Shell assets for refusing to process state crude from a Soviet sugar-for-oil deal. Continued on Page 2, Col. 3.
