Potomac Edison appeals PSC value ruling in rate case
Potomac Edison and allied companies filed in Circuit Court to appeal a Public Service Commission order setting company value for rate making at 15 682 043 as of June 1. The utility contests a higher 26 825 243 valuation and seeks hearing on February 7. The filing notes alleged insufficient allowances for engineering service and capital, and calls for railway and bus properties to be segregated. Nearby firms include Union Bridge Electric Manufacturing, Piedmont Electric Light and Power, and Braddock Heights Water. Samuel C. Dunn cites rising carloadings and a continued favorable rail trend into January.
