Washington county saw about three inches of snow on Saturday while Baltimore Washington and Frederick counties received heavier falls. The State Roads Commission deployed 200 snow plows and estimated costs at 250 000 for clearing boroughs roads and private property. Stranded autos lined the snow swept highways as a brilliant sun forecast a warming trend with mixed precipitation later in the week.
