Clara M Brane 66 widow of Rev C J Brane mother of three daughters and two sons died instantly when struck by a slow moving car in Benevola Saturday. Charles J Sheppard Army officer driving a sedan reportedly tried to brake but the victim stepped into the road. Funeral set at her late brother Henry Newcomer’s home with U B Church services to follow Thursday at 2 PM conducted by Rev M Sparrow and Rev Dr A Stutton.
