Homer Salter Jr. 28 of Baxley is jailed without bond in Clay County Fort Gaines after a warrant charged him with four counts of murder for the execution style slayings of four men at the Mansfield Grocery near Bluffton. Police say two assailants tied up victims before shooting. About $500 was taken from the cash register. motive believed robbery.
