Inmates Recaptured After Weekend Escape in Hagerstown
Two Penal Farm prisoners Roger Susi and Charles Avitello were recaptured near Howard Street and Summit Avenue in Hagerstown early Sunday. Officer James Ray chased them Saturday night. with help from Patrolmen Fred Holden and others they were cornered. Susi, 28, had a 15 year sentence for a Dundalk bank robbery. Avitello, 24, had six years for a Baltimore robbery. Both are returned to Maryland penitentiary. parole denials cited.
