Musical Duo Delights Audience at St Pauls Church
The LeGrangs Musical Duo performed in the social room of St Pauls United Brethren church last night under the Thrivers class. The program featured marimba xylophone piano accordion organ chimes and explanations of instruments and readings. A pound party honored Orville Hay on his sixteenth birthday at 604 North Prospect Street with games dancing and refreshments for many guests.

First Annual Cumberland Valley Art Exhibition Opens
Fifteen Cumberland Valley cities across four states are represented in the First Annual Cumberland Valley Exhibition at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. Hagerstown leads with twenty entries, Greencastle Chambersburg Waynesboro and Shepherdstown each show three artists. Baltimore Annapolis and West Chester are included for Hagerstown residents. About eighty five entries will fill all galleries featuring oil paintings watercolors drawings sculpture and prints plus a 20 piece amateur photography display from Hagerstown residents in February.
