Jane Shank leaves for Washington to be with Bertha Morton during her son Jack’s illness. Mrs. Mark E. Reed visits her parents in Frederick. Mrs. George Lias slowly recovers from a heart attack. Ellen Moffet of Baltimore spends the weekend near Hancock. Margaret Sands of Reidsville heads to Richmond. Mrs. D. Reel improves from pneumonia. Miss Mary Beck of Oak Hill shows improvement. Homemakers Dinner Set For February Twenty First
The Wash ington County Council of Homemakers Clubs schedules its annual dinner at the Y M C A on Tuesday February 21. The scholarship committee met in the county home demonstration agent’s office to decide details with Mrs G M Bushey as chair and Mrs C L Wollinger of Cavetown reappointed dinner chair. The dinner supports the council’s scholarship loan fund established years ago.
