Blaze Sweeps Dairy Building On Sunday

Thieves entered Hill’s toy and novelty store over the weekend and stole more than $140 in watches mouth organs compasses rings bracelets and watches. Entrance was via a rear door Sunday morning. Two other robberies were found Sunday including a broken Maryland Theatre box office glass and an attempted entry at Schlotterbeck’s tackle shop on East Franklin. Edward Watson of Mercersburg Pa reported a wallet with $20 missing Saturday night. West Washington Street School was entered late Saturday morning but nothing was taken.
