Husband Admits Fatal Shooting of Young Bride in Maryland

In Severna Park Maryland a 17 year old bride Marjorie Faye Paleaz was shot to death outside her parents home. Her 22 year old husband Joseph Manuel Paleat surrendered at a Ferndale police station after admitting the shooting and a murder charge was filed. A second man Cecil Hagsdale 22 of Severn was later named by police as the shooter. The victim worked at a Glen Burnie drugstore and had been separated from Paleat since early this month. She died after multiple chest and abdomen wounds at Anne Arundel General Hospital. Police described a motor car involved and the return of the weapon. The report closes with unrelated notes about Krakatoa and Alaska geography.
