Cyclist Hurt In Auto Collision Near Jefferson Street
Gearhart George Gearhart, 16, of Hagerstown Route 1, was knocked unconscious about 7 pm last night while riding a bicycle in the 300 block of Jefferson Street when struck by a car driven by Irvin J Guth, also of Hagerstown Route 1. He was taken to Washington County Hospital where officials said he is in good condition. Guth said he did not see the cyclist until the collision.

Five Die in Blaze at Raysal Home Fire
Five persons were burned to death when a three room frame house burned in Raysal near Welch West Virginia. The victims include Grant Dotson 23 and his wife Alice 17 Earl Rowe 29 and Mrs Rowe 25 Jesse Dotson 22 brother of Grant. Neighbors found them about 245 am and tried to reach the trapped occupants who were overcome while asleep.
