Accident Unavoidable Says Coroner Jury
The ante accident in which Lewis Hardman, 71, of Shady Grove, was killed Friday night was held unavoidable by a coroner's jury at Waynesboro yesterday afternoon. Vernon W. Jenkins, 19, of this city, the driver of the truck, was released. Evidence showed the aged man walking with his back to traffic.

Three Men Die in Clark County Shooting and Beating
Three men were killed in a remote Clark county area on Tuesday. Sheriff A J Cruse said a brother of one victim is being held for questioning. Sampson Fateno and John Martin, both about 40, were shot to death while Buck Sowers, about 65, was beaten to death. Stanley Marlin, brother of John, is held in the Clark county jail without charge. Money is available in Baltimore for a St. Marys seminary science foundation honoring Father Arsenis Royer, who died Sunday. Bishop Cassidy provided 4000 dollars.
