A boy named fd was seriously hurt in a gasped blaze started by six companions. Firefighters say the youths, described as negroes, trapped in a cellar. one boy burned severely and rushed to John Hopkins Hospital where doctors feared for his life through the night. The survivor recalls that the others were trapped after a bucket of celluloid and a red hot poker ignited the fire.
In Flemington New Jersey on January 4 Betty Gow the Lindbergh household nurse could not testify as she trembled in court.
