Merle D. Weller of Hagerstown driver of the Troy Laundry truck was found negligent by a Gettysburg coroner's jury for crashing into Charles Carey's buggy near Gettysburg on Christmas Eve. Carey died about a half hour after the accident. Witnesses testified Carey's buggy lights were lit, though Weller said he saw no light. Attorney John P. Butt announced plans to pursue charges against Weller.
