Nice election board choices are surprise
Governor Nice announced a biennial “green bag” of more than 1,000 names for state and county posts, with two year terms. Senate will act in executive session. Appointments include Justices of the Peace in Hagerstown and Sharpsburg, and reappointments in motor vehicles and parole posts.

Baltimore attorney Leon A Rubenstein filed a habeas corpus in City Court claiming a 17 year old Hancock Maryland boy was committed to the House of Correction without a trial. Judge J Frank Supplee scheduled a hearing for the next day on Edward Faith who is held for larceny.
