Brethren Construction Team Builds Gay Street Church in Hagerstown
Four man Brethren Construction Company crews from across the country have built the Gay Street Brethren Church in Hagerstown at an estimated cost of 35000 dollars. Dan Sellers leads the team with partners Don, Ray, Bert, and Lester Keyser, all long time builders for the Brethren Missions Council. The project features a vaulted cathedral ceiling, natural finished laminated wood arches, Sky-Glo shingles, African mahogany pews, and a large baptistry behind the pulpit. The crew stays in house trailers near sites and moves about twice yearly to new congregations, sustaining non profit church work across the country.
