Chicago February 20 An alleged fingerman in the $70,000 John Factor kidnapping is being hunted after a Tennessee rifleman turned gangster story. Joseph Silvers, part owner of the Dells roadhouse near Morton Grove Illinois, is accused of helping the Rogers Touhy gang locate Factor the morning of the abduction last July 1. State's Attorney informants say Silvers may face accessory charges. He is believed to be in Florida as prosecutors pursue leads from Isaac Costner the Tennessee gangster recently arrested in Baltimore with Basil Banghart.

Five rescued as ten die in Brookville infirmary fire
Ten women widows and daughters of Civil War veterans died in a blaze that destroyed the Pennsylvania Memorial Home infirmary in Brookville.
