Missing Plane Members Safe After Idaho Rescue
Boise dispatch reports three soldiers found safe at a Ranger station after 18 days in Idaho wilderness following a McChord Field bomber crash on January 29. Co-pilot Second Lt. Adgate B. Schermerhorn, St. Edward Freeberg, and Sta Sgt. Ralph Pruitt were located near Lake Fork Ranger Station and Loon Lake area, with a shotgun aiding survival.
