Albert Mitchell St Clair of Martinsburg died after a six week illness at age 55. survived by wife Annie, daughter Terry Lee, sisters Viola White and Frances Miller, brothers Oscar, Claude, and Paul St Clair, and many nieces and nephews. Benjamin Joseph Garrish of Williamsport died at 89 after a long illness. survived by three sons Benjamin, William, and Joseph Henry, a sister-in-law Bertha Garrish, and grandchildren. Emanuel Abraham Keefer of Clear Spring, 88, died following a brief illness. graveside service planned at Starkeyad Cemetery. Frank Darby Taylor of Catosville, 89, died at St Agnes Hospital. survived by children Barbara and others, and grandchildren. Funeral services for Samuel James Hull of Hancock, 87, will be held at Orchard Ridge Church of God with burial in Park Head Cemetery. numerous relatives noted. Funeral arrangements for Mrs Ethel Lee Rice of Mangasville announced with burial in the church cemetery.

A Paradise School bus collided with a car on Broadford Road at about 8 am. Three children including eight-year-old Darlene Eby of Hagerstown Rt 4 suffered cuts and bruises. driver Noah Victor Martin 46 of Eden Rd faced blame as foggy conditions precipitated the skid. Youth Killed In Accident On Rt. 522

McConnellsburg Pennsylvania on Route 522 near the town limits a convertible missed a curve at high speed and overturned killing 22 year old Roger Lee Doyle instantly. A 14 year old companion James Butts was thrown from the vehicle and treated for a broken elbow before being released. The car struck a fence and a field then came to rest against a porch. Doyle was pinned inside as flames damaged the interior.

Denmark Names New Ambassador To United States

Copenhagen announces Denmark will send Forben Rvenue as ambassador to the United States replacing Count Knuth Vinterfeldt who has held the post since 1958. Rvenue presently in Oslo takes over after the 1958 envoy. The announcement appears in the May issue of The Day.

Dock Strike Talks Resume at Galveston and Miami

Joint talks between shippers and Longshore union officials resume Tuesday and Wednesday at Galveston and Miami after a presidential panel failed to resolve the dock strike at South Atlantic and western Gulf ports.
