If the well yields five to forty barrels daily, it will be profitable, unlike nearby Los Angeles wells averaging five barrels daily. Constable Lohman arrested Barnard Neikirk on a charge of isrceny of a razor from a boarding house in John Bede's establishment in Waynesboro. Neikirk, from Boonsboro, had a hearing before Justice Kennedy and was held for court. He was jailed at noon. Remarks note resigned Keedysville constable and unappointed Bellevue keeper. Harvey Dayton Burns died Monday afternoon in Bellevue after lingering weeks from burns suffered on W. Antietam Street. Aged about 23, he is survived by his father and was buried in Bellevue by the Salvation Army. The funeral followed the long and severe injuries. George W. Wise died at Waynesboro aged 53 years after a ten day illness. He was born in Hagerstown, a miller by trade, and lived in Waynesboro 15 years. He leaves a widow and two daughters, with two sisters and a brother. Funeral was held at 10 o'clock at the Reformed Mennonite Church.
Applications for membership came from B LaMar W M Bellman Chas Barber E Bane Snyder and Howard McCurdy. Invitations to Waynesboro and Winchester were declined. J Frederick Heckman aged 37 died in Candepsville Pennsylvania on February 7 from consumption. He was a son of Christian Heckman and survived by one daughter Miss Anna E Heckman.
