W J Kilpatrick, kidnapped by three men who robbed Goodland State Bank of Goodland Kansas of 2006 dollars, was released unharmed near Cameron Kansas. The group stole his car and forced him to drive before fleeing on foot with one member injured. Kilpatrick, a Capper Publishing Company representative, returned to Arkansas City and aided Sheriff Clint Robinson in tracking the suspects.
