Beirut Lebanon AP reports Iraq's president Ahmad Hassan el Bakr said no Jews were awaiting espionage trial in Baghdad and that all those charged are Muslims. He claimed 5,000 Jews may leave Iraq and warned spies face death as the regime faces international criticism after last week's hangings.

Postmaster General Blount criticized the Johnson administration, saying the action should have been taken before Christmas.
