Washington Feb 3 The Treasury proposes a 24 percent withholding on weekly pay to cover federal income taxes with a plan to start July 1 at the latest and permit deferment or forgiveness of some 1942 taxes. Ace Spy Chaser Frank Burke Dies at 73
Frank Burke, 73, a retired Secret Service agent and ace spy chaser in World War I, died Tuesday in Coral Gables Florida. He retired last June after 43 years in service and was credited with uncovering evidence exposing German espionage networks in the United States during wartime.
