Washington dispatch says dive bombers from Guadalcanal sank a 2000 ton Japanese cruiser near Wickham Inland in the central Solomons. On December 25 Tang Dauntless dive bombers attacked a small group south of Vanevni Island in the Solomons. One enemy ship of Soton was sunk near Wickham Island during the action.
