Victor Myers Dies by Own Action on Christmas Day
Victor Myers, 60, an employee of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company for 23 years, shot himself at his Mulberry street home on Christmas Day after a period of ill health and melancholy. Coroner Richard Dufay said death was by suicide. Survived by wife, children, mother, and brothers. Funeral Wednesday at A. K. Coffman funeral home with Rev. Dr F Berry Plummer to officiate. burial in Rose Cemetery.
