Japs Use Mere Boys in Lingayen Assault
Clark Lee reports from Lingayen front in the Philippines on December 26 detailing Japanese troops, some as young as 15 to 18, pressing ashore at Lingayen Gulf under heavy American and Filipino defenses. The piece describes the youth fighters, their gear, and the brutal fighting as U.S. forces hold positions, with updates on other fronts toward Damortis, Pozorrubio, and Baguio.
