Council approves erecting a cedar tree at the corner of South Potomac street and West Wilson boulevard. Mr. Wolfe seeking reelection backs the plan. One foot cedar supplied by two councilmen with Municipal Light cooperation.

Pupils at Winter Street School raise 22.67 dollars with 629 of 691 pupils joining the Junior Red Cross. Classrooms achieving full enrollment include Mrs Lens Barkdoll Mrs John Kerr Miss Leonalds Weaver and others.
