Autoist Is Given Sentence In Jan
Joseph Johnson, 36, of near Hancock, pleaded guilty to drunken driving before Judge Watson R. Davison in Chambersburg and was sentenced to 60 days in Franklin county jail. The sentence dates from December 1. Johnson is the father of six and was arrested on the Mercersburg McConnellsburg road. In a separate case, Guy R. Bear and Ralph M. Bear of near Smithsburg were directed to appear January 16 for sentencing after admitting to stealing gasoline from Hess Stone Quarry at Waynesboro to power a motor saw wood. Bear said he was short of money.
