Plan Would Spend 287 Million Yearly On Education Aid
Washington December 10 An educator said Secretary Folsom backs a plan for the federal government to spend 287 million dollars annually on aid to education. Emphasis would be on science and math in elementary and high schools, with about 100,000 scholarships a year administered by the states. The program, four or five years long, is being prepared by the Office of Education and could appear in the President’s budget message to Congress.

Cole’s car traveled south on Summit. she said she did not see Ritchie’s vehicle until too late.
