Legion Suspension Over Sunday Sales In Cascade

The Board of License Commissioners suspended the American Legion in Cascade for serving on a Sunday without a liquor license. The Legion’s Sunday operation was refused, and the board announced the suspension has been carried out. Clarence Patterson Crawford Smith and James L. Dick appeared before the board for the Legion. Transfer actions included Boone Liquors near Main Street and estate matters involving Gardenhour heirs. A hearing is scheduled January 15 on changing a location to 105 Main Street Boonsboro.
