Kellogg Pact Praised By Speaker In Hagerstown
Miss Jessie L Snow secretary for the Maryland Branch of the Non Partisan Association for the League of Nations urged the Briand Kellogg pact as a great pillar for peace at a Hagerstown Civic League meeting. Introduced by Mrs James Findlay she called the treaty a great step forward though its political value hinges on enduring public support.

Nonmembers listed include the United States Mexico Brazil Egypt Turkey Russia Ecuador and a small Asian province.

The Antiatam Fire Company will hold its annual Christmas treat for children of Hagerstown. A committee was named to arrange the party and decorate the hall. Officers elected include A S Mason as president, J S Devine and G Spaulding as vice presidents, H A Feigley secretary, Clarence Keedy treasurer, Vernon Bachtell chief director, with several assistant directors and pipemen named.

The Wash ington County Home for Children board meets at the institution in San Mar at 2.30 on Friday. Mrs Frank Miller delivered twenty two comforts donated by the Boonsboro Women's Club with help from other ladies.
