Allegany County liquor measure passes in Senate
In Annapolis on December 6 the Allegany county separate liquor control measure sponsored by Senator J Glen Beall passed the Senate under suspended rules. It allows sale of liquor and fortified wines in hotels clubs and Festalirante venues and enables sale of light wines and beers generally with licenses set at 500 for hotels and restaurants and 250 for clubs. Beall said House consideration may lower hotel and restaurant licenses to 300. On and off sale would be permitted in hotels restaurants and clubs.
