The death of Mrs. Helen Martha Myers 25 daughter of David M Hemnbaugh Mercersburg Route 3 was investigated by Chambersburg state police and Coroner D Shull. Private Richard D Myers after a 30 day furlough from Fort Story Va reported his wife left their bed and he heard a noise then found her on the floor of the bedroom used by their son Kenneth. He said she shot herself four times in the chest with a revolver found at her right side and died minutes later without speaking.
