Prisoner Deniel Robbing of Store in Waynesboro
William H. Poffenberger, 39, formerly of the city, returned from Norristown to Waynesboro to face robbery charges against a Pennsylvania State liquor store. He pleaded not guilty at magistrate arraignment, committed for court action in 1500 dollar bond. Poffenberger had pleaded guilty to carrying burglar tools in Norristown and will be sentenced after the Waynesboro trial. He was arrested here about eight years ago for a Baltimore and Ohio holdup at Cumberland and sentenced to 10 years in the penitentiary.
