Robert S. Strobel, prominent Red Man and official of the State Firemen's Association, died at his Washington home. He was well known in Hagerstown and brother-in-law to Justice John H. Bitner. His first wife was Nellie Lang of this city, sister of Mrs. Bitner. Strobel worked in plumbing in Washington. Surviving: a daughter Ruth, a Washington school teacher.
