A crowd of about 4500 attended Lod Morton’s Cliebt opening under Hagerstown Forest Tall Cedars of Lotanon. The show featured notable acts including Large and Marguer, Allie Johnson Tarzan of the Wire, the Patricke perch artists, Frank Shepard trapeze, the Flying Frenchmen, and a clown group led by Hank Sylow. Date fixed for state convention in Maryland
Baltimore August 23 J Bone Ray announced the Democratic State Central Committee will hold the Democratic State Convention on September 23 at the Auditorius theatre. Registration will be the preceding Tuesday and Wednesday. The convention will ratify the primary results for Governor US Senator state comptroller attorney general and Clerk of the Court of Appeals.
