Police faced a weekend of burglaries in Hagerstown involving the National Cafe on West Washington where a side window was forced and a race horse machine valued at 15 dollars was stolen. Elsewhere in town the Alhambra basement was entered with nothing reported missing, 25 pounds of coca butter disappeared from the Industrial building basement, and gasoline was stolen from a North Potomac Street restaurant.

Stolen Auto Found Abandoned Near Williamsport
The automobile of E. L. Eavéy Jr. was stolen Saturday night and found abandoned this morning on the Boonsboro baseball field.
