BEACON New York August 21 two women fell from a porch roof while entering a second story window to free a man locked in after a three day drinking party. Bertha Merwin 47 died and Alva Kingsland Costello 22 of New York was slightly injured. Diane Kingsland, the three year old sister, called for help. Mrs Costello was revived and taken to police headquarters with her husband Walter Costello 27 who had been locked in the bathroom.
