Tamman y Chief Will Be Called In City Probe
New York has announced that John F. Curry, Tammany Hall leader, and Dr William F Doyle involved in a city corruption inquiry will testify at a public hearing of the legislative investigation committee. Seabury said Doyle will be allowed to answer one question to purge criticism, about splitting fees totaling 2 million dollars earned before the board of standards and appeals. Doyle had spent 15 days jailed pending a ruling by the Court of Appeals requiring an answer to the question.
