The large elephant from Al G. Barnes circus charged through Harrisburg streets tearing up a garden and lifting five ton trucks before being corralled between freight trains. The keeper suffered broken ribs as the elephant returned to the grounds. The animal stands over twelve feet tall and weighs around a ton.
Reports from Teaxonaidle labor quarters indicate the Switchmen's Union may join ongoing walkouts. J Bibbs Mills, counsel to the Maryland Anti Saloon League, will move for Birmingham and become superintendent of the Alabama branch. He was presented a gold watch and chain by the league's headquarters committee yesterday afternoon. Mills, 46, a native of Alabama, has spent most of his life in Maryland and has been counsel for the Maryland league since January 1909.

Mrs Health McCormick aged 49 plans marriage to Edward Kreenn a 26 year old Swiss architect and landscape gardener in Chicago.
