Washington Aug 11 Hugh S Johnson Industrial administrator said the proposed code of hours and wages from the American Newspaper Publishers Association contains unsatisfactory proposals. He declined to name the objectionable sections but said publishers would discuss the program today. Adoption hinges on a hearing and approval. Those signing the blanket rehiring agreement would get the blue eagle. Johnson noted many reservations and objected to the lack of set hours for reporters and copy editors.

Dentist Suffers Minor Injuries In Auto Mishap
Dr. C Byron Martin of 460 Summit Avenue sustained slight injuries when his car drifted off the Leitersburg Ringgold highway on a wet road and struck a bank.
