Service News Soldiers complete eight weeks of combat training

Pvt. Paul N. Crampton son of Mr and Mrs Arthur H Crampton of Hagerstown completed eight weeks of military police training at Fort Gordon Georgia. He entered the Army in 1959 and is a 1954 graduate of Hagerstown High. Other reservists from the area also completed two weeks of active training at Fort Eustis Virginia including Charles F Rossinger wife Yvonne and mother Dora Thurmont Sal W Salials and Jacob H Valentine. two privates first class Stanley E Smith Jr and Harold P Ambrose participate in a field training exercise with the 4th Armored Division in Grafenwhr Germany scheduled to conclude Aug 17.
