Western Maryland earnings rise in July report
The Western Maryland Railway Company reports a slight improvement in July earnings, at $1,458,532, though down 86,601 from the prior year. Seven month totals show a $94,895, or 1 percent, decline from the 1913 period, with gains in coal and coke freight and miscellaneous revenue offset by declines in other freight, passenger, mail, express, and milk revenues.
