Agricultural group to map out aid plan in Swampscott
A conference led by Robert D. Garey of Wyoming aims to chart a legislative program for farm aid. The gathering, appointed a year ago, reviews cooperative marketing proposals that stalled in Congress amid opposition. A summer informant said cooperative marketing is essential, and the president plans to leave the issue to the existing advisory committee. Mrs. Kitty of Baltimore was visiting Hagerstown during the period.
